Sarah Jessica Parker, one of my personal fashion goddesses, came out to celebrate the launch of the Sex and the City DVD recently in a rather edgy ensemble. Check out the full size photo, after the jump.

I find Parker’s dress adorable and the shocking pink shoes a very smart touch, but I’m not sure I’m feeling the sheer elbow-length gloves and beehive-ish hairdo combination. It looks part dominatrix and part Donna Reed (how many times do you think those two references have been made in the same outfit?! Yeah I’d guess this is the first too). What do you guys think of SJP’s look? What would you do differently?
