Fashion Folk, Consider Yourselves Warned: Bruno (AKA Sacha Baron Cohen) Invades Milan
Borat fans should prepare themselves for fashion hilarity when Sacha Baron Cohen takes his schtick to the runway in Bruno, his next film based on a character of his own outlandish creation. Turns out the comedian is already ruffling some feathers in Milan, sneaking backstage to expose the deep dark secrets of the serious world of style…

After seeing Cohen in action in Borat, I wondered how he would manage to pull the wool over the fashion crowd’s eyes to film Bruno. Um, quite easily, it looks like. WWD is reporting that Bruno has already been guilty of gatecrashing at Iceberg, Mariella Burani and Roberto Musso, showing up to interview a model’s agent and taking down a rack of clothes that subsequently stuck to his Velcro-trimmed outfit. I’m sure the stylists were over the moon about that little celebrity encounter. The report also says that security is on alert and fashion houses have been informed not to let in anyone working under Baron Cohen’s three different production company names. DRAMA!
Check out some of the havoc he wreaked at Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, where he was escorted out by security:
