When a star is known for showing a lot of skin, it can be completely refreshing to see them a bit covered up. Kim Kardashian hit the red carpet last night in a look that took me by complete surprise.

It all looked very Gucci fall 2009, from the black skinny jeans and thigh-high boots to the flowy peasant blouse and layered necklaces. She’s even forsaken her usual come-hither red carpet pose for a wholesome, hippie-friendly peace sign.
