Goodbye LBD, Hello Nude Dress

Most of us tend to opt for a bright, color cocktail dress when we want to stand out in a festive crowd. But New York designer Derek Lam (who showed his spring line again in Paris last night) offers up another solution: Why not go nude?
I didn’t ask them, but I’m sure the Derek Lam models were talking about the merits of the nude dress.
As seen at the Derek Lam presentation, beige works for day too.
With a nude dress that is. While Lam whipped up a few beige and tan numbers for spring ‘09, we say you could start working the LBD alternative right now.
