A Little Bit Country: Would You Wear The Western Trend?
I’m not saying you need to have a full on Jessica Simpson-style conversion to country girl here, but trend obsessives should take note: Incorporating a few down-home pieces into your fall wardrobe will help you look perfectly now. Some things are best left to Dolly Parton for a reason–but others are easy to wear and inexpensive to own. Keep reading to find out how to get the look.

You definitely don’t want to look like a waitress at the local Spaghetti Western (or worse, Simpson’s stunt double from Dukes of Hazzard), so tread lightly with this trend. The idea is that it’s influenced by country, not a direct ripoff of it. Think full skirts, riding boots, tweed accessories, and a lot of country-friendly earth tones. Wear one or two pieces at a time (ie, I’d never opt for a fitted plaid shirt and a scarf around my neck at the same time) and remember to wear at least one super-now item of clothing to keep the look modern.
