Interviewing for a new gig?  Timex Fashion Trend Director, Amy E. Goodman, has some advice for you: “Don’t underestimate the influence of the power accessory,” she notes, cautioning anyone on the job hunt to show up in well-polished shoes, a snazzy portfolio or briefcase, and, of course, a classy wristwatch.

“The devil is in the details. While you shouldn’t be afraid to brighten up your look with a splash of gold, silver or color, for a business meeting or interview, remember to refrain from too large or shiny pieces that distract from all the impressive things you want to say.”  Avoid shelling out your hard-earned dough for every interview by honing your collection of classic accessories to ones that never go out of style, such as a think patent belt in black or red, black pumps, and a pearl necklace.  And lastly, don’t leave home without the must-haves in your cute carryall: “oil-blotting makeup papers, cell, reusable water bottle, breath mints, and a chic business card holder.” (Be sure to check out Amy’s helpful trend & tip videos at TimexStyle.com.)
